"My daughter has been to the Solospike Hitter's Clinic at Mount Mercy University for two consecutive summers.  After the first year (2008), I could visually observe the tremendous improvements in her hitting as an OH player.  Last summer's clinic (2009),  second year of Solospike, allowed her to develop even more.  During both years of high school playing, she brought home MVP trophies, made All Conference, and set new record "Kills" for her high school.  The MOST SIGNIFICANT benefit that I saw was her "Authority & Confidence" at the net.  Solospike taught her this.  Because of this skill, my daughter is now going to play Vball for college this fall (2010).  Several college coaches saw her play during the high school season and have wanted to recruit her.  I would highly encourage you to send your young players through this clinic, not once but every summer of their playing careers.  It DEFINITELY makes a difference!

I wanted to be sure and drop you a line to express how  happy I have been with the results seen this volleyball season after my  daughter attended the spikers/hitters camp this summer. My daughter, Shayla,  is a freshman this year at Center Point-Urbana High School and had decided  to give your camp a try to possibly give her a "leg-up" for the start of her  high school career. Boy, did it ever! Two weeks into practices she was moved  up to the Sophomore team. This had me more than a little nervous because  often times athletes get moved up only to get little or no playing time once  they are there. To top it all off, Shayla had not played on the "A" team  when she was in middle school, so you understand my concern. This did not  turn out to be the case. They coached her to be a middle hitter and from the  start of the season there was no doubt that she deserved to be playing at that level. While the team itself has had a rough season so far, Shayla's  play has continued to be at the level it needs to be to maintain her  position on the higher team. Then last night she and her team swept their  opponents in a dominating way with Shayla's performance being better than I  would have ever thought to be possible. All she talked about on the way home  was how much of what she learned from your camp she was able to implement in  last nights games which led me to think I really should drop you a line and  tell you.
